The title plays on the symbolism of the Goya painting Saturn Devouring His Son, in which the god of prosperity and time is eating his offspring for fear of losing power. In this abstract reinterpretation the authoritative Saturn is consuming the gravitational center of the solar system, the primary source of light. Saturn is the cancerous consumerism that drives humanity to a cliff's edge with the myths of infinite resources, infinite growth, and happiness through conspicuous consumption. Saturn is a narcissistic power consuming it’s own false narratives in order to sustain itself. A feast for acid lovers, beat junkies, and critical theorists.

“On The Angel Of History'' is a sonic companion to an aphorism by philosopher Walter Benjamin. An inescapable catastrophe of social, political, and economic forces piles up wreckage while catalysts of despair masquerade as progress. Acid sludge coils around an unsettled mood and punctuating drums in a tempo that’s just right for doomscrolling.

Sinking Siren is the soundtrack to resisting the call of the siren as it tries to drown you in the murky depths of false narratives, hypocrisies, and fear mongering. The siren is the alarming rise of authoritarians, gaslighters, conspiracy theorists, and anti-science officials in charge of a pandemic during a climate crisis. The siren is the sound of the police, the sound of the beast, protecting the status quo of corrupt power. The siren is the maintenance of racist and patriarchal ideals pretending to be justice and equality. The siren is oppressive normativity and egoistic ethics pretending to be liberty. The siren rises and falls, an oscillating warning of danger.
